Open Position: Customer Service Representative (part-time)

Our app was originally optimized for motocross, but it applies to different types of two-wheel or four-wheel racing. Position Overview:

We are currently seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to join our small team as a part-time Customer Service Representative. In this role, you will provide exceptional customer support. You’ll also manage product inventory, and fulfill/ship customer orders. This is a part-time position with competitive compensation.

Job Responsibilities:

  1. Resolve customer inquiries and problems (email, phone, and chat) utilizing Zendesk. 
  2. Provide timely and accurate information to customers regarding product features, pricing, and order status.
  3. Resolve customer issues by investigating problems, offering solutions, and escalating to colleagues as necessary.
  4. Process customer orders and manage order fulfillment, ensuring timely and accurate delivery.
  5. Oversee and track inventory management, and maintain accurate records.
  6. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure efficient and effective communication.
  7. Contribute to the continuous improvement of customer support processes and procedures.

Requirements:

  1. High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred.
  2. Minimum of 2 years of experience in customer service or related role, preferably in a technical industry.
  3. Experience with Zendesk or similar customer service tools.
  4. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  5. Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to addressing customer needs.
  6. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  7. Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time management skills.
  8. Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment, with the capacity to work well on unsupervised tasks.
  9. A positive attitude and strong team player mentality.
  10. Previous experience with motocross is beneficial but not required.
