Position Overview:
We are currently seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to join our small team as a part-time Customer Service Representative. In this role, you will provide exceptional customer support. You’ll also manage product inventory, and fulfill/ship customer orders. This is a part-time position with competitive compensation.
Job Responsibilities:
- Resolve customer inquiries and problems (email, phone, and chat) utilizing Zendesk.
- Provide timely and accurate information to customers regarding product features, pricing, and order status.
- Resolve customer issues by investigating problems, offering solutions, and escalating to colleagues as necessary.
- Process customer orders and manage order fulfillment, ensuring timely and accurate delivery.
- Oversee and track inventory management, and maintain accurate records.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure efficient and effective communication.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of customer support processes and procedures.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in customer service or related role, preferably in a technical industry.
- Experience with Zendesk or similar customer service tools.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to addressing customer needs.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment, with the capacity to work well on unsupervised tasks.
- A positive attitude and strong team player mentality.
- Previous experience with motocross is beneficial but not required.
